Well I said it was going to get cold this weekend we would be in the 20’s and teens in the colder spots in the morning. Also said that we would see maybe a coating to 2″ in our NNJ to LHV area from the snow Monday which we did.

Now as we move forward it will rain and give us a good dose of wetness. It is April so we should expect such. Then it will turn colder as the dam Polar Vortex – yes that lovely cold storm well it is not a storm – decides to press all the way down to NY State and bring us another shot of cold air – very cold for this time of year. – Saturday through Monday.

Speaking of I said that I thought we could see a coastal in the April 8^th to 10^th time frame and there IS THE POSSIBILITY that we get one Saturday night. If not it will form off the coast and give New England a nice spring snowfall again. Speaking of this is absolutely crazy:

Pouighkipsee NY had more so from Sunday and Monday’s storm’S 9.2” than they did ALL YEAR!!!!! This is another record peeps – 6.2″ from the storm Monday!! Here is a picture from one teh weather boards I belong to

Oh you want more you say – well it was colder yesterday for a high and a low than ANY day in December in the tri state area – WTH?????? That is crazy to boot. The low temperature yesterday of 27* in NYC was the lower than any low temperature from Dec 1 to Jan 5^th!! IT’S APRIL NOT FEBRUARY.

The weather extremes keep coming with the second coldest NYC April day in NYC since 1995

at 26 following a December that only fell to 34.

Rant: Let the seasons give us what we should get so we do not have to deal with what we are experiencing now. So many folks were saying oh it is so warm I love it in the winter and now they are biaging how cold it is and this weather is crazy – yes it is and it was when it was 70 in Dec and some days in Feb it was 60 – there is something called a pullback or snapback and with El Nino dying off this is what we are getting. /Rant

Then it colds again next week until the 11^th ish or there about.
