We have what is being considered a cyclonic bomb out over the warm waters of the Hotlantic as I like to refer to this massive body of water as. What does this mean? It means a storm is forming and will bomb out – deepen, becoming very strong – like this

 

See how fast Bumble Bee Transformed or bombed out – that is what is going to happen with this storm.

They are actually performing National Hhurricane Center airplane data gathering flights or recon into this storm – that is how serious this is!!

There is a westward trend happening and we can see amounts in the 4-8″ range for NNJ.

NYC is 6″ plus

LI and SNJ coastline is 10″ plus with some areas seeing as much as 16″

Blizzard like conditions for the coastline of NJ SNJ, NYC on east.

School for tomorrow? I would hedge my bet on cancelled at this time.

If we get more of westward expansion of the precipitation for snow or a westward jog in the system itself then the snow amounts go up from east to west.

NWNJ sees about 1-3″, maybe 2-4″ if you are in eastern Morris County.
