On mobile so this will be short and sweet.
A major and I mean major Nor’easter will be slamming the area from DC to Maine with possible major implications. For our NNJ, NYC Metro and LHV areas we can see a foot plus snow maybe up to two feet plus with wind blown snow and cold temperatures (20’s). This one could rival some of the great ones – 1996, 2010, 2003 blizzards.
If I am you I get to the stores and get your goods tomorrow. The storm is to come in here by Monday night around midnight and last until Tuesday night possibly early Wed AM.
A pro met from a wx board who lives in Rockland poster on FB All Rockland Cty and sur rounding Cty schools will most likely be closes Tues and… Wed.
Tomorrow I prepare for Sunday morning if not night the watches and warnings will fly.
Have a great night and updates to come with maps etc. Again get things in order tomorrow to be ahead of the curve. Power maybe an issue as well if wind charts verify, yikes.
