It has been one heck of a winter so far……yes it ain’t over.
- 46.5″ of snow (average is 33″ – 36% above average
- 2 NESIS Snowstorms
- A historic blizzard
- 26 winter precipitation events starting on Nov 11th.
- 22 had some accumulations
- 5 were 4 or more
- the coldest 30 day period since the LIA
- Lake by my home has been frozen since Dec 13th. Longest stretch in my 30 years living here.

Clipper Verified
Wednesday morning clipper certainly verified as it came in with a quick burst of snow as I outlined dumping 1-2″ on the area making rush hour slow and slippery and causing many schools to call DO’s (Delayed Openings). I DO NOT HAVE SUCH POWERS so go to the complain department to complain okay, not me. Here it is…..

Warm Up (Faux Spring)
After a few cold days and light snow mix Tuesday starting around 10am ish and lasting through 7pm ish:
Snowfall Coating to .5″ with maybe a light glaze of ice for NW NJ



Thursday we start a good stretch of warmer temps even hitting possibly 70 degrees a couple of days. That will feel like summer!!!
