The Alberta Clipper that I was the only one to write about and give you a heads up on, well some of my inner circle text thread peeps, the Puritan crew of NH (no not religion – you can guess) Bach Bashers, EJ and the bear, Bucci, Stroh, Mary the Duchess of PC, snow prince and princess, the OG of NH, Greenie, Smitty squared, PB, Guerci and Lyncher – I think I covered them all!! They all got a text Saturday night and the Duchess said what? Sunday? where? I said my dear royal Sista as King Snow Weenie please do not contest my relay of such information. Then she witnessed it for her very own eyes the splendor of white gold!!!!
I measured 1.6″ here in the dale and even NYC recorded 1′!!!!
No DO’s though, came it quicker than modelled and was out of her by midnight.
IF it snowed as modeled from 10-11PM through 4-5AM maybe we could have pulled it off!
My call for .5″ to 1.5″ was pretty darn good, eh??

Timing: Starting in NNJ, NYC Metro ~5-7AMish
Snowfall: 2-4″ NNJ
Ice: .1-.2″ accretion of sleet and freezing rain
Impacts: Rush hour is going to be rough
School Closings %: 80% as of this writing
Trend: Positive in the colder and snowier department, CAD, no not what I teach but it is right along these lines is FFTW!!!!! CAD sets up as cold air damming and prevents the warm air to take over but is stubborn, like an Irishman, yes I said this, deal with it, and makes the warm air run over the top of it and produces wintry mix precipitation.
