It been a while and Happy FALL!!! Since Mid-August we’ve been predominately in a great weather pattern with only a few days of humid weather and mostly windows open weather and even chilly a number of nights especially this past week. Speaking of I hit 42* here and my friend in Sussex County hit….29.8*!!!
This warm faux summer spell will end on Tuesday. No crying from the peanut gallery you live in NNJ and it is supposed to get cooler as we enter the longer night and shorter daylight period. Speaking of shorter daylight, by Oct 22nd our bodies will have diminished to zero in producing Vit D from the Sun. We call this low Vitamin D season and many call it cold and flu season, WRONG!! The why to the what is low vitamin D so start now, you should have started a month plus ago but start taking 3-5K unit of Vitamin D daily to ward off, boost that beautiful God given immune system you have been blessed with. Proper sleep (7-8 hours a night and steady, regimented schedule asleep by 10/10:30Pmand awake by 6:30/7AM – REM is between midnight and 4AM – this is when the body will go into a state of relaxation and self-healing), Nutrition (stay away from fatty, processed foods and sugary foods), Hydration (drink 1/2 your body weight in clean water daily), Meditation/Faith (breathing exercises and prayers for 20-30 minutes daily giving thanks and being grateful) will keep you healthy.
So here we go, a cool shot comes in on Wednesday. Saturday night/Sunday into Monday we could see our first coastal storm producing much needed rains (1-2″ worth plus), windy conditions with tropical storm force gusts possible, beach erosion and coastal flooding.

So faux summer ends Tuesday, Wednesday cold front bring in some rain about a .25′ plus and temp high are only about 60* and low temps Thursday and Friday morning are brrr…..low to mid 40’s.

Happy Fall and in 28 days we set the clocks back. When are we getting rid of this nonsense crap with our time. Oh wait, our government is shut down so we should not have to do this right?? Bunch of baffoons.
