This is going to be a major winter storm from Omaha to Pittsburgh to Paterson to Bastaan to the Hills of NY to Vermont – and on etc.
Here is some information:
Starting time – light snow around 4PM
Heavy Snow – Evening hours through the night – have fun going out and I say stay put
Ice – MAJOR CONCERN
Scenario #1 It all depends on the low-level cold air – if it hangs tough which it usually does then we stay snow longer and ice will be less
Scenario #2 – If the warm air wins out and overrides the cold air then we have a sleet fest and a freezing rain accretion issues that could bring us up to 1/2″ which would not be good.
Ending Time: could be around noonish BUT if an impulse rides the backside of the storm then we’ll have snow till about 4PM
