as I said last night in my post we had a major storm on our hands and I was expecting it to evolve into a Blizzard. Well, after the European Model, which has been absolutely atrocious with this storm and all the model lovers of the EURO need to apologize. Why> How the hell does Channel 7, 11, 4 and 2 ALL CALL NYC for 8 -12″ this morning when every model, and I see them all believe me, had 18-26″ plus for NYC Metro, LI and NNJ?? Cause they hug the EURO like its God. And tehre is only one and he is total control. His wrath is being put onus and we have not seen anything yet.
BLIZZARD WARNINGS for the State of NJ, NYC, LI, Delaware plus into New England.

This is a CAT 1 Hurricane and we will see an eye formation ….call it a Snowicane!
The snowfall rates will rival the King of Blizzards 1996, Boxer Day Blizzard of 2010, PD of 1979, and 1983 Blizzard:
2 – 4″ inches per hour snows!!! It is possible it may exceed this!

Coastal Flooding will been a issue with moderate to possibly major flooding issues for it is 2-3 high tide cycles. major beach erosion as well.
When all is said and done I have a great feeling this will be a NESIS 5, top level blizzard and will be #3 maybe #2 in the history books with the Great Blizzard of 1888, 1996 being ahead. It is quite possible this overtake what we consider the King …….1996.
Schools will be closed for 2 days if not all week for some districts.
Travel Bans will be implemented Sunday through Monday
The airports will close and have a herculean effort to open up. The drifts there could be 6- 8′ tall plus.
Power Outages are possible to likely.
It is a heavy wet snow, be careful shovelling!!
Oh if it is not too much the GFS says lets do this all again Wednesday and again next Friday the 27th LOL!!

Lastly, there will be an abdication of a snow royal. D Bach will be removed from my court due to her complaining not once, not twice, but multiple times about snow and this snowstorm. As a snow royal one must embrace this for it is not often we have such. We shall carry on and the court is now in order. She is being replaced by her lovely little sister known as Lil B!!
