Tonight into Monday morning we see a possible coating to 1″ again from NYC on North but about 1-3″ from NYC on through CNJ/SNJ.
MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY NIGHT/EARLY AM WED.
A very complex storm again and tough forecast for the entire area aren’t they always??!
Tuesday commutes morning and night time are gonna be a mess in NNJ and the LHV!
Start time: Midnightish – 2AM from West to East
Snowfall and sleet amounts:
1-3″ NYC region – Hudson, Essex, Union counties
3 – 5″ NNJ/LHV – RT 80 North Bergen, Passaic and Rockland Counties
2-4″ CNJ
4-6″ NWNJ, Orange counties
Ice – about .1 to .25 for NNJ and NWNJ
Remember this snow map includes sleet which is a 3:1 ratio so you basically cut these snow totals down by 1/2. If it were all snow we’d be dancin!!!
