Well the afternoon storms

Those orangey water in the GOA (Gulf of Alaska) and west of the Aleutians – if we learn anything look at the same red blob from 13-14 that once that EPO took hold the pattern feedback was at points tremendous for this indicator. Not EXACTLY the same but close. Last year we had a stream more west – Fukushima related?? Maybe who the H knows.

IO has cooled nicely and will set us up for a MJO forcing in 8,1,2, 3 regions.
Last year – wow have we cooled the oceans – they take longer to cool due to the thermocline or the depth of warm waters – it takes a lot of water vapor – evaporation for this to help cool and less sun/sunspots which have been happening.
AND they are out!

Oh and dont let your guard down the tropics or Caribbean will spawn a trop storm or two and we have to watch for teh first few weeks of October – could be a Gulf Special or another East Coast with teh big ridge sitting over head ala Florence!!
