Well, I said the arctic hammer would drop and it certainly has these past two days. We should moderate tomorrow afternoon and then it comes right back Friday.
Verification from Sunday Storm
It was a two part system. The morning was an overperformer again with 2.5″ falling and the night coastal was meh here. To our west they did great and North but this NYC metro got skunked with subsidence. Seems to be a theme with developing coastal for us, let’s break this trend for we have a bunch to deal with the next few weeks.

CNJ, NYC Metro, NNJ 3-5″: 2-4″
LI – 2-5″ Mixing maybe an issue 2-4″
CT 3-6″ : CHECK
Sunday into Monday Storm
I said this in my last write up that this could be a biggie and it is definitely shaping up to be. The storm has trended North over teh last three days for a Virginia beast of a snowstorm to now a CNJ through SNE beast of a snowstorm. Time will tell with 3 days to go and they are actually doing a hurricane hunter recon flight into the Baja of Mexico where this storm is currently to collect data for weather models to forecast. It will be in models by tomorrow morning. God Bless the hurricane, storm hunters!! THAT is how SERIOUS this storm is.

Snow Royalty: Queen, Prince and his Princess sister, the Dukes adn Duchess of each region I have outlined in my last post need to unite and positive juju for this upcoming storm and period!! If not I shall make sacrifices of some!!!! The King has spoken!!

Tuesday 7AM wind chills – I do see DO = Delayed Openings for many schools if not closures between the snowfall amounts if the reach the top end of the forecast and these wind chill temperatures.
We aint seen nuttin’ yet for we have two solid weeks plus of such storms to track.
Get to the store and stock up. Get the thermals out. Put towels and teh base of all doors and use insulating kits for windows. Old fashion winter is upon us.
