Peeps, I hope you all have enjoyed the last month of weather. We had a few rainstorms, a Nor’easter that did a number on the shores. Tidal flooding was that second highest, right behind Sandy, three high tides worthy and the winds verified at the beach. We received over an inch of rain that Columbus Day weekend. Yes, you live on a sandbar this is expected from these storms. Then we had an inland runner that produced 2” of rains which was much needed area wide and winds. Now we have a strong front moving through that will produce a quick burst of rain, but the winds will be the issue.
Sustained winds of 20-30mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
Power Outages are possible.

Mr. Freeze is coming to town.
I have had two freezes and two frosts, a couple of patchy frost as well so far here in the H’dale land. That is slightly above normal for this time of year. Sunday, Mr. Freeze is making a visit for about four days, and he is coming straight from Santa’s Workshop in the Arctic Circle. The strongest Polar Vortex energy for this time of year. On Sunday it will be raining and there is some hint of snow showers, sleet, graupel, mix wintry precipitation Sunday Night for norther and western peeps such as PB, WC Shawty (Magretto), Dutchess of BC land (Ladiere), Snow Prince and Princess and of course Snow Queen. It will pack a punch Monday through Wednesday with high temperatures in the around 40’s and low temperatures in the upper 20’s to low 30’s. Wind chills will be in the low 20’s to 30’s. Hats n Gloves are in order.

Winter Vibes?
The clocks have been changed, and the winter vibes have begun. We should stop this nonsense of clock changing, it’s costly and unhealthy. We have only had this in place since the early mid 1970’s from the energy crises. We never did this for the length of man on this planet, but we think we change nature……guess what we cannot. More strokes, heart attacks and car accidents happen when we change the clocks and the week after doing so. And there are more home burglaries as well. So why do we do this antiquated event 2x a year? Because we are slow to change and set in our ways. Oh, and Congress are a bunch of idiots who can’t run a lemonade stand without a major fiscal loss.
I digress but the maps show positive signs if you are a winter lover. Around Turkey week we should start to see a true pattern change to more winter like weather.
Nov 21st – Pattern Change ?? If so it may snow around Thanksgiving week then it might snow !!! Here is what it is showing.
