We  had a good round of rain and like I said between .5 to 1.5″ and that has come true area wide asd per the GFS.

The skies in NNJ have brightened and the sun is out but with this humid tropical air mass we can be assured that there WILL be some T-REX storms popping up throughout the NYC Metro area due to the instability of the air mass.

The HRRR says we can get pounded up here this evening/night.

We shall see – IF this comes to fruition and we get training on the t-storms then we will go over the 1.5″ rain gauge.

Rest of the week is dry and sunny and normal temps in the mid to upper 70’s.

Then we get unsettled from Friday through next week with showers in teh forecast almost everyday.
