Four Peat?
Yes it happening and the NWS has posted a WWA = winter weather advisory which they did not post for Friday night and picked up an inch and a half of snow with terrible driving conditions hmmmmmm…
Light Wintry mix of snow to sleet to freezing rain will make traveling during the morning rush hours hazardous. Will it equal a DO?? Probably for Rockland, Westchester and Orange counties as well as Sussex, Western Passaic and Morris Counties. Notice who I left out?? You got it the we are better than everyone else – Bergen!!!!!

Issued: 3:28 PM EST Dec. 17, 2017 – National Weather Service
… Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to
7 am EST Monday…
* what… light freezing rain expected, including during the
morning commute on Monday. Total accumulations of a trace to a
hundredth of an inch are expected.
* Where… portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut
and southeast New York.
* When… from 10 PM this evening to 7 am EST Monday.
* Additional details… the precipitation will likely start as snow
tonight before transitioning to sleet and freezing rain late
tonight and early Monday morning. A few tenths of an inch of
snow and sleet are possible, especially from Connecticut to the
lower Hudson Valley.
Precautionary/preparedness actions…
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow… sleet… or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibility… and use caution while
driving.
After this we go AN for the week with a cutter the 22nd = rain and warmth – ARGGHHH but we rebound back to cold by Xmas with a chance for whiteness – I am just as bummed as you with this but I have no control!
5 days in a row for snow this week – Wed thorough Sunday possibly 6 if it does so into Monday – crazy!!
