Peeps,  we have two light snow events – not going to call them storms but will be a refresher to the snowpack in NNJ – looks good tomorrow afternoon.

Sunday afternoon about .25 -1” is possible

3K NAM picks up a bit more and temps in NNJ between 28-31* as per models

Tuesday same as Sunday – about a coating to 1” is possible

 

Xmas Eve into Xmas there is a high energy storm that will drive temps into the 50’s BUT we see a trend and corrections for this to be a positive tilt and if we can keep correcting (like I have the powers to do so!!) this it may just give us snow at about 7-8/9AM as we get up Xmas morning.

Then a bigly pattern that could be a powerful nor’easter sets up and a possible banana split of the Polar Vortex or an elongation may occur. This happened in 1978, 2009,2010 and we rocked for weeks with big coastal storms!!! Time will tell but it is on the table.
