Technical issues and health have prevented me from posting – strained my forearm muscle that I tore last spring and could not post due to technical upgrades that I needed to perform on my site that gave me some issues.

Now that is behind us.

BLOWN BEAST CALL

Peeps I had the storm but it I was 500 miles off with my call – as teh great Bob Uecker would say – just a bit outside!!! LOL. 

Listen, I had it but it did not come North as we thought it would – a piece of cold arctic lobe broke off and shunted this system to teh south and just hammered them.

This storm has absolutely paralyzed them – 200K w/out power and many roads are still closed. Yes, I blew it and I blame the TV pro mets up here who were saying this a week out and whenever they do our storms never come to fruition !!!!

THURSDAY’S SNEAKY WAVE

This is showing a nice burst of snow for NNJ – it could result in an inch to maybe two but will IF it happens it will whiten up the ground. Timing could be an issue with this as well if ot wee to come in around 7AM ish – can yuo say rush hour problems?? The state dept of transportation will be on this after last months debacle.

LEADING UP TO XMAS

Snow queen and princess will be mad if I can’t deliver some white gold by Xmas peeps. The Mammoth pattern I thought would be happening has not come to fruition as far as storms are concerned but it has been cold – not at the right time for storms!! ARGGHH!! Like this Saturday BUT the pattern is reshuffling and we WILL have many chances of white gold from my big day on Monday through January. Her are some possibilities:

A few dates to look at for future snowstorms:

Jan 13-15 th time frame for a possible big east coast storm – high energy sun cycle

March 4-6 snow storm

March 25 -28 – two storms – could be a double barrel low that brings a slew of precipitation from rain to snow to ice 

Be careful Thursday – light snow but will cause issues.

SUN UPDATE

2018 total: 204 days (59%) 

Solar Minimum will be reached in the next solar cycle and the cooling as projections are showing will reach its peak minimum by about 2046-48. Jim WItt pro met and long range forecaster said this tonight and that volcanic and eq activity is up by over 200% it norm and will continue to rise. Also, crop losses and such food issues will cause strife and possible conflicts.
