We have not even begun to feel these affects of the wet and flooding spring and now heavy snow and freeze that has hit the area of teh states and faget about Canada who just as hammered as US. Wheat, soybeans and other grains are at about 50% harvesting when all is said and done.

NOT Global Warming causing flooding on the sand bars of Miami Beach or anywhere else on teh shore but this above. If a storm where to hit such as a Sandy then the flooding aspect is increased exponentially. Oh and yuo build on an elevation of a few feet that was for 100’s of years not habitable but we build on it and then complain nd blame GW – wake up sheeple!!!

We take temps mainly in urban locations – see what the urban heat island affect does to these temperature – it skews them by ~6 degrees overall. Hmmmm nd then this:
This data is the Climate Reference Network designed to accurately measure the temperatures because the 140+ stations are sited to avoid the contamination by urbanization or local heat sources. Tom Karl, former Director of NOAA said when he introduced USHCNv1 in 1989, that he included an adjustment to the station data was necessary because most the stations were now urban or airports (which had even then increased from 20% to 70% of the stations). He said if we didn’t do that we would see an apparent warming (mostly w/r to nighttime lows) of 6F per century. This was supported by NASA’s Dr. Edward Long.
