Peeps,

Sorry for no updates of late but major technical issues with the site and my main man Jim Guerci figured it out for me, thank Jim!

Last week said we would be in the 50’s and 40’s with 30’s and BAZINGA!! Even said snow for interior sections and DOUBLE BAZINGA!  Some areas hit the teens and 20’s last Thursday and Friday nights – crazy for late April. Some saw a coating of snow on the colder surfaces, car tops and grass areas. FYI, the latest measurable snowfall for NYC happened on April 26, 1919 – 3″ of white gold measured in Central Park.

This week: WED = SPECTACULAR DAY!! Remember the Seinfeld Episode, Their Real and their spectacular! You all want to be outside tomorrow for sure. Temps in the low 70’s with a slight/light breeze.

Here yuo go! https://youtu.be/aQNkeugaAMc

Thursday into Friday – cloudy from a coastal system, dreary and wet, cool to chilly with temp sin the 50’s again with an onshore flow. Good thing we have a west based -NAO to help suppress the storm just offshore cause it would have been a moderate coastal storm with 1-2″ of rain, wind and rawness.

Weekend: Looks to be very nice with temps in the mid 60’s to about 70 and the same holds true for next week maybe even warmer low to mid 70’s.

May looks to turn around the 10th of the month or sooner where we should really warm up and settle into a good pattern. The problem is folks that we still have a ragging -EPO that is up in Alaska and some cool to cold air still hangin’ out in Canada that could bring us what we call Back Door Cold Fronts or BDCF’s – like Joe Mugs’s grades at Rutgers – ahahahahahaaa!!

Folks, the waters of the North pacific are warm and do not look to be cooling anytime soon which could mean business for us next winter with a moderate El Nino being foretasted. We shall see.

Oh, this summer – looks to be average with a good 6-9 days of 90 temps but nothing in long staying heat wave types, 2 or maybe three days and then we cool down type of weather. Tropics look to be about average for H’cane (hurricane) Season upcoming that starts in 5 weeks. I will give these two predictions in a few weeks, still recouping from this arduous winter we all just experienced.

That is all for now my weather disciples.
