Peeps,

WOW it has been 32 days since I last wrote and sorry about that but life and my personal activities/chores wrapped me up. I said that about mid June the heat and humidity would come back and it basically did and that July 1st week would see this as well. It has, June was not as warm as I wrote back on June 1st but Buster Poindexter (Hot, Hot, Hot) made a big showing after I saw Journey and Def Leppard in concert with friends at the Pebble (Rock in New – Ark as the Brits called it LOL!). Impressive heat wave this is and please we have had these before and will again just like the cold snaps we have had. People get freaked out by the hype of this stuff, heck I can remember as a kid growing up in the 70’s and 80’s we had this all the time. Didn’t faze us then but the in your face media and informational technology makes this worse I feel. It’s the humidity that always the issue here.

Last 14  days

Shout out to the two B’s – Bach and Baresich for wanting information about my next write-up. The reason we are having this heat wave is just as complex as why we have cold snaps in the winter BUT to simplify things the WAR (western Atlantic Ridge) joined forces with this big High Pressure Heat Dome if you will. They were separated by the powers of the NAO (North Atlantic Oscillation) System and since it has relaxed they have taken over.

T-Rex will be making a visit this afternoon/evening in NNJ and the NYC Metro so be ready just in case.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!!

The 4th should be hot and humid with temps in the mid to upper 80’s with the slight chance of pop up storms but looks to be mainly clear of that at this time. So, go to the town parades, fireworks and bbcues and enjoy the day.

AC break incoming for the weekend!!

A strong cold front looks to move through here on Friday bringing much-needed relief from this oppressive humidity and Saturday looks to be around 80* with low humidity  so yeahhhh and Sunday too!

Solar Nill Implications

Well I have been harping on this for sometime and will continue to do so. Solar activity is waning big time and you will see and read this more and more and the predictions that it will have. There will be some that are extreme in each direction. One thing that is directly related and I have been studying and doing write ups here and there on this is the seismic activity of our planet in relation to low solar activity. This magnificent planet is directly tied to its life-giver – the SUN. The geomagnetic impacts have been occurring for the last couple of years with activity of volcanoes and earthquakes and their strength of each increasing.

Here is the latest from NASA’s site that tracks solar activity.

Spotless Days
Current Stretch: 6 days
2018 total: 93 days (50%)
2017 total: 104 days (28%)

We are in the 24th solar cycle and they last 11 years. Cycle #25 is about to begin and will be even less if you can imagine that!!

So what are we the implications in the future? They are more tropical volcanic activity, don’t be shocked by this and seismic activity  of earthquakes from area we have and HAVE NOT seen such as the Atlantic basin. A report just came out that a Super Volcano under New Hampshire is starting to show signs of activity – never knew one existed up there in New England, but again not surprised since we know only so much about this.

Implications for our sensible weather?

As we move deeper into this cycle we can expect colder winters and lasting longer as a first and then cooler summers overall. IF we see a few VEI level 4-5 volcanoes (The Volcanic Explosive Index (VEI) is a relative measure of the explosiveness of volcanic eruptions. It was devised by Chris Newhall of the United States Geological Survey and Stephen Self at the University of Hawaii in 1982.)

A level 7/8 would have massive implications to our planet possibly wiping out a geological  quadrant!

For yuor following pleasure the Worldwide Volcanic Activity Site – just look at all teh reds ones!

El Nino – still on tract for a weak Nino Modoki style which means a very interesting winter upcoming based on the latest information – cold and snowy is in line with this projection at this time. Some projections are a 2014-15, 1977-78 winter. Snow Queen and Princess will be

Have a great day and enjoy the Birthday tomorrow!!
