Peeps,

Bascially hit the call for Tuesday’s storms and rains. It is like shooting fish in a barrel lately with teh weather pattern. The pattern after tonights cold front moves thourgh chnages to a much more comfortable temperature regime and lower dew point sand humidity overall.

Overnight rains and t-storms as per models show them arriving around 1-2PM and rolling thourgh until about 5AM.

Rainfall amounts will of course vary from .25 to 1″

Media hype and absolute ridiculousness calim ……again.
Hottest month ever? That claim is misleading for two reasons:  This is due to minimum temperatures only, which skew the “average.”  The real, measured thermometer data (area-weighted) don’t support this claim. NOAA’s “pairwise homogenization algorithm” (PHA) systematically cools the past (pre-1990) and inflates recent warming by blending urban biases into rural stations and applying broad monthly time of observation bias (TOB) adjustments that lack solid day-by-day or metadata grounding. We can see this in the figure below from Dr. Roy Spencer. Rural station data, when area-weighted and correctly adjusted for TOBs (which does not “double count” hot days like commonly claimed, but rather is only an issue on the last day of a heatwave / warm spell if a cold front comes through) show stronger early-to-mid-20th century peaks and flatter recent trends.

Here is the claim
The Associated Press
July was the hottest month ever in the contiguous United States, according to the NOAA.

1934 and 1936 were hotter and they actually scrubbed some of those records besides fudging some of the latest reporting stations. Example: Newark Airport Reporting station and every airport in this great land has a weather station……..right near , next to the tarmc where monster jets take off and land about every 2 minutes. This station runs 2-4 degrees warmer than all stations around it even those 1 – 2 miles from the airport!!!!
May be a graphic of map and text

22 States in 1934 or in 1936 set all time record highs in JULY!!!

Solar Panels:

Manufacturing solar panels requires extreme heat, up to 3,600F, to turn silicon dioxide into usable silicon. Hence, for every megawatt of panels produced, inputs total around 1.4 tons of toxic chemicals and nearly 3,000 tons of water. Production can also release greenhouse gases thousands of times more potent than CO2 molecule-for-molecule. Silicon is wasted during wafer cutting, while other manufacturing stages involve hazardous compounds, including trichlorosilane and silicon tetrachloride. Then comes disposal. IRENA projects global solar panel waste will reach around 6 million tons every year by 2050, with cumulative waste approaching 78 million tons. Recycling is possible, but it requires more energy, water, chemical processing and specialized facilities. Solar panels can be labeled “clean,” but only if you ignore the intensive mining, extreme heat, toxic chemistry, manufacturing waste, disposal, and also the short life cycle (of just 10 to 15 years max).

Updates to come and keep the faith. He has made a path for all of us and once we understand this things are much easier.
