Some flurries this morning at a wintry 28* here in H’dale NNJ. BRRR!!! Back to back?? Think so peeps!

Tomorrow morning there will be snow showers in NNJ and the NW NJ area may see a light accumulation, dusting.

Other areas may see a coating on colder surfaces.

NYC urban heat island affect keeps them from seeing stickage.

Temps after this will go above Normal for a few days before we have to get back to winter.

 

NAM has good surface temps for the snow showers to stick in the NW NJ regions and colder surfaces in NNJ and LHV

Xmas Miracle?

Long Range models are hinting at the possibility of a trough forming in the South on the 23^rd/24^th of December and heading in a NE direction. No will it be snow, ice, rain??  Anyone’s guess at this stage BUT their maybe some fun for my bday timeframe 16-18^th for a white gold storm.

This has trended more troughy and more blocking the past couple of days. Lets keep an eye on this period. I am going to try my Winter Weenie Darnest to bring us some white gold goods for the holiday!

 Solar Flare

There was a C class flare from the sun last night which is a pretty good flare, not all that serious but did and will interfere with radio frequencies, especially the first responder radios and Wi-Fi connections, cell phone etc. Things will be slow, broken up but not down. I experienced this today with my Wi-Fi and my cell phone, static calls, in and out when speaking and hearing, choppy connections. I was not the only person who experienced this today.

800 years later

Lastly, we have Jupiter and Saturn to align in December to create ‘Christmas Star’ for first time in 800 years. For the first time in nearly 800 years, Jupiter and Saturn will align in the winter solstice sky to become what is known as the “Christmas Star”. What will this mean for us here on planet Earth?? Who knows but in 1220 it started…the next 4 years this is what occurred that can be researched from that time frame weather wise and tehir were 3 major wars
