This is going to be a tough call for schools in the NNJ, LHV areas – delay or close? I am banking on delay and hearing my principals voice at 5:30AM. And It goes sumtin like this:

Tuesday March 13th – This is Mr. _____________,     ______________ High School will have a 2 hour delayed opening, teachers are to report by _____________, students are to report to home room by________________.

These are the best days since we have school (it counts) but we have an abbreviated schedule day – shortened class periods.

TONIGHT TO NOON EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5
  inches are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New
  York.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to noon EDT Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the morning commute on Tuesday. Be prepared
  for reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
Check local Department of Transportation information services for
the latest road conditions.

Going with that slight qwest jog I was talking about.

BUT it all comes down to teh individual schools.

Oh and guess what Spring aint sprungin peeps - we can have our 4th Nor visit 
(Nor'easter that is)next week from the Monday/Tuesday time frame.
I kid yuo not and I dont relish in this this time of year Dec 
through 1st 10 days of March yes - not when it is to be spring.
I want to be wrong Mary L and i hope I am but  the pattern will 
dictate the outcome.
