WInter like temps are here and I told ya’s to get our the winter gear, right? Don’t heed me warning big Momma gonna make you pay and she always wins!!!

Active Week

Two Coastal storm are brewing and this pattern is a very good for snow lovers as we round the base to winter wavelengths in our fluid dynamic atmosphere. Tuesday/Wednesday is the first one and may bring snow to the interior sections and mostly rain to the coastal sections but this one may set up a doozy at the end of the week for the high elevations of NJ – High Point, Sparta, PB land and maybe into Oakland and Mahwah!!

Yesterday the National Weather Service issued their first ever snow squall warning and my son at Penn State was in the thick of it.

Tuesday storm – Rain along the I 95 corridor and snow well inland  like 200 miles inland

About 1″ of Rain – YEAHHHHH (Sarcastic)!!

Snow

Cold air drains in behind this system – oh and if this were December or January this would be one heck of a snowstorm due to various factors – wavelengths shorten, cold air supply, Al Q positive juju you know LOL!

Thursday/Friday – YIKES

There will be a lot of cold air still in place and as the storm comes up from the South it is going to cause lots of issues – snow, ice, mixed snow, ice and rain and rain along the coast. Inland this may be a doozy for snow and ice. Inland again maybe about 25-30 miles from the coast not 200 to see wintry precipitation !!!

Lots of time for this to change either way but just a heads up for now.

Cold air wraps in behind this system and we may have snow showers Saturday and into Sunday as well. Known as Streamers.

WARM UP RELAXATION BEFORE THE HAMMER DROPS

Things will moderate after this week from teh looks and next Friday/Saturday could see temps rising near 60* – I know SNow ladies dont shoot the messenger but this can change as well. The one thing I have noticed is the pattern wanting to reload for early December by the looks of the upward Motion in of all place he Indian Ocean and New Zealand/Aussie regions. Also, we may see a Polar Vortex disruption for mid December as per the latest data from teh Tibet, Mongolian Regions of this planet that force the jet stream up at a pendicular to this regions mountains called Mountain Torque – learning sumtin new each day.

Lastly Solar: major implications down teh road called Grand Solar Minimum for the 20th time I have been harping on

Lastly, Lastly: Food crop issues coming – Canada has lost  40% of its crops in its breadbasket region and talking to my wife’s ol’ highschool friend from Montana they have had a harsh spring and farmers have lost a good portion their crops in that area as well.

Lastly,Lastly – last time we had snow showers, squalls this early – Nov 9th 1995-96, 2002-03 (winter storm the wednesday night before turkey day) and 2014-15 winters!!

Updates to come.
