Well, Heat miser and snow are still battling it out this week and Heater looks to have had probably his last stand here as far as his presence this winter. The storm is going to cut due to no blocking to hold teh cold air in place for us that was showing up when I wrote yuo last on Xmass morning before I opened up my beautiful presents – like many other Americans all I have to do now is enjoy them and pay for them!!!!!!!!

MOnday night into Tues Morning:

NNJ – snow to start then change over to ice – sleet and freezing rain then to rain – accumulations maybe about coating to an inch depending on elevation – ice accretion about a coating to maybe a tenth.

NWNJ – WEstern Passaic Co to the Del River – same as NNJ but the change over happens slower – not much probably by 6-7am ish – about 1-2″ of frozen precip – snow, sleet, freezing rain

LHV – this is going to get real dicey an dicy as you move North of here with the combo of snow, sleet and freezing rain but the changeover happens slower and again yuo can see 1-3″ in some locations. Icing I think is going to be a real issue for Northern rockland – Westchester and of course Orange county. Guerci land in Delaware County (AKA God’s Land!) it will be mostly snow and then a changeover to the mix slop and then to rain at the very end.

The LP will cut to our west and go into the Great Lakes due to what I explained above – for what we experience 48 hours hours to even see white gold 40 hours from now is remarkable – may not stick on teh warmer surfaces but I do not care at this stage – just bring me white gold – isn’t that what girls also want besides the rock (diamonds)?

RGEM short range model just came out – love these colors – don’t you?! Abut (think Canada cause the RGEM is a Canadian model))3-6 hours of wintry mix for NNJ and LHV

Sleet – wow this is a lot!

Full Pattern change incoming next week. Looking better as we move along Europeans, Canadians and Americans are all saying so and our boy Thor is doing wonders to the PV – models are showing a full split by latter part of next week – it could get ugly col;d as we move deeper into winter – remember I said in my outlook two halves of winter?? Well we are in the midst of this.
