2-27  3PM UPDATE

PEEPS!! Fun times for the first week of March – the great Emerald month for the Irish!!

Well our winter storm that I was calling for this week went south. I was off by about 120 miles not too shabby calling something that far out. We got a nice dose of snow yesterday morning –  .2″. We’ll take it. A MECS from Northern Alabama (“Oh, My Sweet Home” – Skynard great song) to SNJ.

I know many of you have had the ol’ Sex on Beach – some more than others. Got to be careful with the sand, if you know what I mean but who here has had SEX on a SNOWBANK???? Raise your hand……………………. your dirty dogs!

Katie Perry baby – March is going to be roaring like lion this week not a pussy cat here peeps – like that good ol’ MGM Lion – come on she’s hawt (Katie Perry)!

Looks like the cold air is going to have to hang tough like it has all February and say Fordham University to the warm air as we have what is called a SWFE (South West Flow Event), not a true storm but what is called an overrunning of moisture that originates in the Southwest of America. Precipitation looks to move in here around Sunday evening (7ish PM)and last until just before noon on Monday morning maybe a bit earlier. We can be looking at 3″+ and it can be a snow to ice to snow type of storm or an all out snow storm. If we stay all snow we can see 4-6″ plus for the NNJ and LHV areas, the city 2-4″.

Now what happens with this first wave as we call it will determine the next two waves – HANG TEN DUDES and DUDETTES!!!!! If one stays weaker then the deuce and tres snow good. If number one trends stronger then the latter two storms gives us little snow. This is an exciting week ahead – for me at least and stop the wah wah about the snow – it is still winter.  Pattern warms up around the middle of March and then we may go cold (below normal) to end the month, more to come on this.

I can smell a 3 day weekend – woop woop! Timing is great at night so we do not have to worry about the sun angle affecting our accumulation on roads and this my friends is going to stick it right to the great State of NJ for the CCRAP Tests !!
