What crazy weather – 60’s with Thunderstorms and tornado in Pennsylvania to windy normal condition to a warm up mid-week to possible snow Friday/Saturday due to a clipper.
I am telling you Ol’ man winter is going to have one last say maybe three if he has his way through the middle of the month of March. We have what a great Long Range forecaster is calling for two periods of potential east coast storms 3/3-9 & 3/11-15. We have a Greenland block setting up that may allow these storms to rapidly intensify by slowing them up as the turn the corner to come up the coast. Don’t put away the winter jackets, gloves or shovels peeps. Joe Z is going to be hitting the cash register if it comes to fruition in a big way plowing!!
Okay, Central Pa into EPA had some snow last night as the cold front passed through – missed us by a hair – yes the distance between us in NNJ and CPA is a hair in the weather world overall speaking. T-storms in February crazy – we usually have to wait to late April or May before these pop up!
Remember the dates I threw out to watch for a snowstorm, +/- a day on either side:

Then I believe we flip to more spring again after this period. – Why wasn’t this in February – great question – IT WASN’T so we get what we can and move on.
Oh and El Niño is looking to come back – no not a super one but a weak one to possibly moderate which could be interesting.
