Peeps,

Squalls all evening and night  long for the LHV and NNJ area

Windy, cold and snowy condition could put down a coating to an inch of white powder in this area maybe 1.5″

Is it January or March?? I know i know when is it going to break?

Well we have couple of cold days ahead Thursday and Friday and then we should get more normal temps this weekend.

Spring sports? Not very spring like and wont be for some time peeps. Snow Queen said” You said we would flip to Spring in your post a few weeks ago” Very true and I don’t make the frickin weather I just interpret and report to you in a humorous, concrete matter what is going to occur without conservative but full throttle information.

Recap on Nor’easter

Missed by that much – 50 -100 miles by a crows flight from half a foot to one and  half feet. You can call me out but just a shame cause that was a BEAST!!

3-4″ NNJ – for the most part yes from Saddle River and up and west. 1/2 check

Timing 12-9AM – check that bad boy off

Delayed and closings – west of my school yes in Morris, Sussex, Western Passaic and North to Rockland, Orange Counties – 3/4 check

LI get Crushed – better give me two checks for this one LOL!

Spring rings in March 20th – sure the vernal equinox!!!!

12 hours of sun  and darkness yippeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

STOP the presses!!

Spring is not going Sprung anytime soon! Hate to be thee bearer of such. This cold stormy set up looks to be with us possibly through till the end of March or as one pro met stated Daffodil crush time – YIKES!!

When: Tuesday – Wednesday

What: Mr. Nor’easter sliding out of the Rockies through the Great Pains and then off the Mid Atlantic Coast South of Cape May.

Cold Arctic air seems to be in place.

Details are still unsure but please don’t be a minimalist and rather be proactive to be ready. It could be another big storm like we had last Wednesday, not a scare tactic but POSSIBILITY with this pattern.

This is a very good stormy look by this map:

The green blob shows the cluster of where the Storm will come off the coast and track in a NE direction from here. MANY snowstorms take this track and produce some big snowfalls like Significant 6″ plus.

This chart shows the region where our cold will be sent from, anything below 2/3 is cold – yikes very cold air being funneled our way the 19th – 22nd time frame

How about Vernon School District – 12 snow days and 4 delayed openings this winter MOMMA MIA!!

Updates to come.
