Two for Tuesday

Nice surprise this morning right? I had a .5 and  said, I said I said (Foghorn Leghorn??)

I said this in my last post that we’d see a coating to about 1″ and 2″ as you go north – what a ways to start the New Year adn Decade off to BOOOOOM.

 

Late breaking news – it will snow again tomorrow evening/night. More CNJ – cuz Larua C may see more than her 1st Cuz’s Christine and Kevin.

A quick moving storm will hit the coast – thee types usually woudl be a 1-3/2-4″ type storms for us but a weird set up may allow for such in teh DC region and SNJ but another coating to 1″ maybe 1.5/2″ at the utmost most surprise for the NNJ region.

Lynch report:

Timing: Tuesday evening and night – darn thing is so fast models keep waffling on this. Can we get this overnight I wish but not likely.

Amounts: Coating to 1″ maybe 2″ NYC metro but more so Central and Southern NJ regions – they could pop a 3″

Precipitation: the one adn only…………….white gold = snow Muted Warm Up

This is pretty crazy for the warm up of 2 days of rain and rawish – 50’s* with a SE wind not a spring day by any stretch and look about 100 miles North = ICE

Watch for the 15-18th time frame for a mixed bag storm to get us back into winter.

The blue shows a trough which means cold and stormy adn buckle teh jet stream and where does it originate from follow the blue …….up into the North Pole and Siberia!!!!

The brighter orange colors mean a block which will slow down the jet stream – see that over Scandinavia and just SW of Alaska – push the a bit more east into North America and we go..

 

Winter is gonna swing back and I have a feeling the snap back is gonna greater than the November and December cold and storminess – could be epic to a degree (no pun there!!). Just have to wait and see if we can pull this pattern set up off first. If not it is a clunker and I’ll eat humble pie!!
