Well, I recorded 5″ from yesterday snowstorm – ended sooner than anticipated but we got a delayed opening out of it. That is our 4th one this winter well since the end of January – not to shabby. Our seasonal total is…………….drum roll please………………………………………..43″ !!! This is about 8″ above our seasonal average. This is the third year in a row that we are above normal in snowfall. Temperature you ask, MADONNE!! February  was 11 degrees below normal in NYC and you, me and everyone else in this igloo of a month heating bills will reflect it – ouch!!! The third coldest on record dating back to 1870, that is remarkable!!

I know who cares about the past but you need to learn this so we can move forward right Meizys??Okay, so here we go. Strap yourselves in cause the ride we are about to go on is going to be like Rocking Roller Coaster by Aeorsmith in Disney!! Great ride and I hate heights, yes a little known fact about the Al Q and I am not ashamed. So I screamed like a little girls, closed my eyes and prayed that it would end soon. Just like the Jets and Devil’s season – hahahahaha. Too fn bad Kuz my blog and you too Joe Mugs.

Tuesday afternoon into Wed Morning we will have a nice little storm that will drop 2-4″ on our area with .25″ of sleet and about .10″ of freezing rain. IF, and this has happened all winter (hence the history I stated above folks – always the teacher in me!), the cold air wedge hangs tough then our snow totals are more towards the 3-4″ end and have less sleet and freezing rain. DELAYED OPENING??? There is the possibility peeps due to the fact that the cold air is dense (umm,  like the people who believe we should treat the Islamic jihad and terrorists at Git Bay humanly – they would tear you to shreds if given the chance peeps – I say torture them to no end! Again my blog hahaha!!)

The changeover happens around 3-4AM and will may end as drizzle around 4AM. Here is the map RGEM short range model – a lot of sleet. Rush hour maybe a mess in NNJ.
