3-1   1PM Update

Yes today is the first day of Meteorological Spring. This is when the days are longer, the sun is stronger and the weather starts to turn, well not really – HA!

Starting earlier than thought and to me not good for a 3 dayer – I am bummed to be quite honest at this time but there is hope!! The 250 Jet Streak is flying  this one along and we most likely will be over by 3-4AM. IF we can get the offshore low pressure that will form off the DelMarva to deepen quickly and throw some more bands of snow back this way then NENJ MAY have a shot. Anyway, here is the latest map for accumulations – I know some of my weather disciples are seeing accumulations already.

CNj is under a Winter Storm Warning not for the snow accumulations but for the ice accretion of .25 to  almost .5″ – insane!!!

The latest Euro run crushes us the city and LI with snow at about 3AM  and NNJ has moderate snow – oh boy we are getting close to that time frame I was talking about above – come on baby – Poppa needs a Monday off!!! look at that dark green blob – move her 25 miles west and bingo baby we have a 3 dayer – yeah no kiddin’. Sorry Joe O and the rest of the admins who are sweating this stupid CCRAP (PARCC spelled backwards) test.

Canadians (CMC) say we will get a good 5″ snowfall. Look at this map below.

PM snow to ice to possibly rain Tuesday night into Wed – have to watch this one – weak sneaky little wave. Wave #3 looks like it can be a repeat of the great Super Bowl surprise (not to me I called this bad boy in my winter outlook last year – yes that is the truth Mr. Quinn and nothing but the truth sir. Shall we look through the court room papers for this?!)

As for March here we go (quick update)

I believe that this March, we are coming in like a Lion and will go out like a Lion with a mild but pleasant 3-5 day spell during the middle of the month (sometime around March 12h-17th or so). After the mid-month mild spell is should turn colder and more active yet again. Potential for big storms. Hey, I am just the messenger and do not get mad or pissed – it is what it is and there ain’t notin’ you nor I can do about it!
